I can remember my dad breaking out the huge projector and the white screen some nights to show me all the home movies that were taken when he was a kid.  The sound of of the fan and the clicking of film.  Then he would always break out the carasel of slides.  But now a days if the projectors break its near imposible to find a new one to help share those memories with my kids and to pass them down.  That is why preserving them on DVD or converting those slides is so important.  I can convert and save them on DVD as well as save them digitial on the cloud for you for furture generations to come.
